Beta Chars in retail - Guild Wars Forums

I couldnt find any related threads on this so I am not sure if it has been asked, but are the beta characters going to be kept going into retail or will all the chars be wiped?

There's gonna be a wipe before release (but not before the next BWE).

To be exact, your beta characters will be reset to level 1 with level 1 equipment. Not wiped, as such. The character will be present on your account as a level 1 (and possibly with a generic profession combo). The character will effectively be acting as a placeholder, and thus saving your character names for you until you can activate a retail Access Key.
